Spelling:  The “No Excuse” words from last week spelling test could show up on any of our spelling tests this year.  Usually I will pick five out of the list to add to each week’s spelling test.  I remind the students that they should not just remember the words for Friday’s test, but for a lifetime. The spelling words for this week are:  cannot, can’t, don’t, haven’t, won’t, wouldn’t, I’d, I’ll, let’s we’re, I’m, didn’t, o’clock, that’s, there’s, minute, stretch, instead, ninety, and divide.  Test will be Friday, Sept. 10th .

English:  Each day your child will be doing D.O.L. (Daily Oral Language) which is a review of all the grammar rules and write in their journals as part of their English program.  We will review the four kinds of sentences (declarative, command, interrogative, and exclamatory)
