  LADY BRAVES HEAD TO STATE!
Congratulations to the Lady Braves for their win!

Dear Fans,

Here is the current information for the Girls State Basketball Tournament and post tournament celebration on Saturday, January 28, 2012.

1.    The player/fan bus will depart Bartelso School promptly at 11:45 a.m.

2.    The game is at Rend Lake College and is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. The bracket is Bartelso vs. Germantown

3.    Our estimate is for the girls to arrive back to Bartelso between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. When they arrive the team will meet up with the Bartelso Fire Department and Sheriff’s Department at the “Y” (intersection of Slant Road and State Route 161).  The player/fan bus, fire truck, police escort, and parent motorcade will travel down highway 161 to Illinois Street (Bank), go north (right) to North Street, turn left to “A” Street (south around the park), back to Illinois Street, cross the highway to Parker Street, go left up to Bartelso School.

4.    After the parade, all guests are invited to the Bartelso School Gym for a recognition celebration of our First/Second Place Team, Class S State Girls Basketball Tournament. Following the recognition everyone is invited to the KC Hall. The Bartelso Board of Education will provide beverages for Bartelso Students.
